Excellent wee campsite tucked away. And the home made bread was awesome Only thing missing was a heated bathroom freezing cold concrete floor Heater on a timer for first thing in the morning or a slatted wooden matt to stand on while getting dressed

Just back from a peaceful 2 nights camping at Ythan Valley campsite. Libby made us lovely bread for breakfast and delivered it to our tent in the pouring rain (twice as we slept in). Its a very well cared for site and the scenery / peace is rejuvenating.

Absolute gem of a place! My first time camping and I couldn't have asked for more. From the lovely welcome and advice from Libby on our arrival to the delicious freshly baked bread and baked oat breakfast. Washroom was absolutely spotless and lots of recycling facilities (which I love). We had a hideaway pitch, which was just amazing and made my first camping experience very special. Definitely recommend this site for a peaceful, relaxing trip and will be returning very soon. Well done Libby and family x

What a wonderful and memorable campsite this is! Nice and quite, well maintained with a cute little washhouse that resembles the creativity and personality of the amazing host Libby. We also liked the eco and "do something good for the poor/unlucky people in this world" with a shelter in a box. Too bad we couldn't stay more than one night. If you're lucky, Libby makes some baked oates which I do highly recommend. Also for craft beer enthousiast, Brewdog is not too far and you can get a cab if you need one. Thanks for an amazing stay Libby.
