City Taxis, Elgin

Brought my phone back to me after I left it in the taxi. No fuss, above and beyond, excellent.

Over charged a ridiculous amount for a short fair Edited to reply- I got a taxi from egin Town center to bishopmill via one stop also in bishopmill (Seafield) to drop someone off when I got to my stop mins later (I had to mention to the driver which turn to take rather than trying to take me the extra long way home) anyway got to my house was 2 short after having 15 on me he wouldn't let me into my house to retrieve 2 and took me to the bank at bishopmill next to scot mid then I got back to my house and had to hand over a further 20 so from elgin center to bishopmill it cost me 33. I phoned the next day to to speak to the owner to ask why so much to the get the phone put down on me! Very horrible experience to be put in when you use a service thinking you will get home safely

Really horrible and scary experience. I am so glad I saved the number to my phone, so I know never to use them again. The driver was extremely unprofessional. I used them a long time ago but I remember it well, it was the worst taxi experience in a very long time. Driver agreed fixed price via but at the destination, did not honor it and became nasty insisting on more money, wouldn't let me get my bags. He also arrived late so we were pushed for time. In the end I had no choice but to pay more money to get my bags. I did consider reporting him but I just didn't bother and decided not to use him again. I absolutely don't recommend. It could be OK for short city centre trips though where you are a group of lads or something. Service: Limousines
