Counselling Moray

Having avoided counselling for so many years, I am so glad I took the decision to engage with Mike. He managed to help me reaffirm, educate and provide me with tools to deal with the issues and challenges I felt I was facing. I would always say, from now, it is good to talk and Mike is a great listener and guide. It was relaxed and informal - no pressure at all. So chuffed I took the step to reach out to a professional.

Having been through turbulent events in life, I found my confidence and happiness had left me. A close friend suggested therapy and done some research into local services. Mike's name kept cropping up as being most suitable so, despite feeling anxious and sceptical, I agreed to give it a try. I'm so glad I did and wish I'd done it sooner. I found Mike to be understanding, open and non-judgmental. A good listener and very easy to speak freely to. So far he has helped me see things in a more realistic way, which I find refreshing. And he has equipped me with several tools which help daily on the journey to become the person I once was. It can be hard work readjusting but well worth it. Hence I am still seeing him fairly routinely as of this date.

Would highly recommend Mike. He is so easy to talk too and you feel totally at ease in his company its like sitting chatting with an old friend, whom you can say anything to without the worry of being judged . He has made me look at things in a different way with the ability to challenge my negative thought patterns.

From making the first appointment on the phone, Mike made me feel completely at ease and I knew I'd made the right decision. I gained a lot of insights during our sessions - although sometimes not easy, it has helped me tremendously and I always looked forward to speaking with him. Mike is very professional and a really nice guy.
