    Not accommodating for people with disabilities. Phoned to get my father some glasses. The first 4 times they tried to transfer me to reception to to take the order. Was told they will call back (they didn't). Finally someone said they don't accept phone orders because they need an appointment for fitting (my father has been in 6 months ago and they said they didn't keep records). Was told we can order online (no appointment needed). That doesn't make sense logically. Clearly no management, staff don't know what they are doing and extremely unhelpful.

    Leaving a review on behalf of my 84 year old mother. Due for retest in March - fine, lockdown took over but no reminder received. She went along to shop (within opening hours) and had to knock for them to come and open. She was told to wait standing outside on pavement (she is disabled with walking stick!)the shop had no customers at that time. When my mother commented about having to wait, she was 'told off' for her attitude. It was a very upsetting episode when already under covid times are extremely difficult. The Boots assistant showed no concern for elderly and disabled customer. These days a little bit of kindness is even more appreciated by us all, none was shown in this instance.

    Tried to reorder repeat prescription of contact lens. No web or phone facility to do this during COVID. Had to go to store 20 miles away. Was then sent wrong prescription through post though I had paid extra for the postage. Rang for correct prescription. 5 days later still no contacts had arrived. Tried ringing the store. Rang out after 10 minutes during opening times. Terrible customer service I'm afraid.
