Discharged family member from their care, who had undiagnosed renal cancer. A quick Google search would have told them it was Renal cancer !!!!!! Luckily, specialist team in ARI picked it up. Was given 6 months to live without surgery. Luckily, from diagnosis at ARI to kidney removal at ARI was less than 6 weeks and is recovering now at home, with much better outlook!!! I have currently been waiting for a ultrasound for 9 months and am overdue 3 yearly colonoscopy (due to polyp removal) by 12 months... Waiting times are ridiculous, it's not acceptable and there is no come back.. Who do we report these issues to????

I received a lack of professional care and attention by the a+e staff. I collapsed at home and made my way to the a+e department. I explained to the admin desk that I think I am having a heart attack. I was advised by the admin staff to have a seat in the waiting area. I don't remember much after this apart from coming round with a thump on the head by a heavy door to which was opened by a doctor whilst I was collapsed in the waiting area. I was taken to a room and bantered by several of the staff about this being a great way to jump the queue. I was given paracetamol and left lying on a bed for 3 hours and sent home. I still suffered with serious chest pain and consequently had a massive heart attack at home and almost died. Again on this occasion Dr Grays failed to provide any duty of care as were arguing with the ambulance technicians on route to Dr Grays and telling them to reroute me to Aberdeen. I needed thrombolised and pain relief and to which the ambulance staff were not qualified to do. Dr Grays was the closest to have this administered. I was thrombolised and left shaking erratically for two and half hours in Dr Grays a+e awaiting transfer to Aberdeen for heart surgery. Consequently I now have heart failure to a previously healthy athletic heart caused by it taking 6 hours to get me to surgery to clear clots from my main artery to my heart. I have now had 2 unsuccessful heart procedures to try to repair the heart damage caused by this alleged professional a+e team. The confident ignorance by one of the doctors who had also thumped my head with a door is traumatising! Any complaints to NHS complaints are confidently replied with lies against fact. I have a second bite at the cherry thanks to the massive experience of staff at Aberdeen royal infirmary CCU department and I am very grateful to them. Avoid Dr Grays a+e incompetency if you can. 8/12/22 update I called Dr Grays A+E for a copy of my discharge letter from 26th August. I got a lass saying hello several times as if to not hear me. I explained about the requesting the discharge letter that has never been received. She then asked for my date of birth several times and repeated it back to me wrongly after me telling her this several times. I asked her if there is difficulties and she hung up on me explaining that she will not be spoken to like this . Should snowflakes be answering such important calls?
