My husband and I have just had a fabulous week at Cuan Beag (our original booked stay was April 2021 but had to be moved to 2022 due to lockdown) the weather has been absolutely amazing (no rain all week and sun everyday) but the cherry on the cake was the cottage itself. Extremely well equipped and luxurious Cuan Beag was a complete delight to return to after a day out walking or cycling. I love cooking when we are away (great local produce wherever possible) the kitchen had every conceivable dish and utensil to make this enjoyable and not a chore. The bed was so comfortable that we always had a good nights sleep. Location is fantastic, on high tide the Loch (Loch Treaslane) is very accessible. We were able to launch our paddle boards and paddle up the Loch, the very first morning we encountered a small island with over fifty seals chilling in the morning sun, they are so inquisitive that they followed us back to the cottage, we were completely charmed. The sunsets we saw every night were so beautiful, we could see the high mountains on the Isle of Harris. All in all we have had a truly memorable holiday on Skye, staying in a truly memorable cottage. Thanks to Jenny and Dave, we loved CuanBeag

Jenny and Dave clearly go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible while remaining within the confines of the Covid regulations. The welcoming bottle of wine was very well received. The property is very well appointed, having touches of luxury you generally don't have at home such as touch-free, lit vanity mirrors and a nice big walk-in shower. As I have somewhat reduced mobility the shower was one reason for booking, as well as the obvious location. Everything on one level and the floors are nice and even with no trip hazards and plenty of space to move around with a stick. There are only two or three steps up to the outside doors too The lochside location is quite beautiful in all weathers and it was wonderful to watch the tides changing and the sun rising and setting. It was also a real treat to watch wildlife from there, such as seals lazing or bobbing, an otter having supper right on our doorstep and dolphins leaping around further out in the main loch. Even the Jackdaws tap dancing on the roof made us laugh and the huge windows make it easy to take many beautiful photographs as the light and weather changed If we come to Skye again we wouldn't hesitate to book Cuan Beag once more, we can't recommend it enough
