Osdale Cottages

We have just returned from a week at the Osdale Byre on The Isle of Skye. The Byre is very well maintained to an excellent high standard with all you would need for a relaxing stay. The views are stunning, the landscape is very majestic and the Byre is ideally sited as a base to go anyway on the island. When we were not out and about visiting major landmarks we were relaxing in The Byre reading or just looking out of the large glass frontage over the mesmerising vista. Anne was so helpful when we made our booking and communication is first class. We also had the opportunity to meet Lucy and her dog Ned. It is such a pleasure to book direct and have the personal touch of actually speaking with Anne and Lucy rather than through a booking site. Would not hesitate to recommend Osdale Cottages. Absolutely fabulous property and location.

Just perfect. Warm, cosy, luxurious, spacious and isolated. Easily accessed by car and only a short drive from the small but lovely village of Dunvegan. Great for dogs with a lovely large garden big enough to have a zoom around in. Great location with views all around. Wild walks or quiet road walks from the door. Anne & Lucy were fantastic hosts that let us enjoy our holiday in peace but were so helpful when we needed help. We'll be back.

Words cannot describe how wonderful stopping at Osdale feels, amazing hosts have prepared a wonderful cottage and provide so much information on activities, facilities and walks on the isle. The cottage itself is exceptionally prepared, immaculately tidy and comfortable, well equipped and is the perfect base for exploring wonderful Skye. We cannot wait to return next year. Thanks for making our holiday a wonderful experience.
