Elaine Ferguson Wedding Photography

Elaine photographed our wedding on the Isle of Skye earlier this year, and she did a brilliant job! She knows the island well and has a great eye for taking photographs in this stunning location (but equally she was happy to take photos in locations / settings we suggested). She was very enthusiastic and generally lovely to have around on the day, and we're very pleased with the results!

Elaine was amazing. Booked her quite last minute and she managed to slot us in on our last day in Skye. It was freezing cold and snowing on the day. Despite her freezing fingers she still manged to take amazing photos of us. Her experience and recommended sights makes the entire shoot so memorable and the photos all turned out amazing. My entire family loves every pic and the shoot with Elaine. I highly recommend a holiday shoot with Elaine to save your memories in Skye.

Elaine is a very talented photographer who knows how to play with the fickle and wonderful lights of the Isle of Skye! We had a very friendly and fun time! Elaine was warm, telling us about her island, its history and the Gaelic, a real passionate person who made us feel comfortable for a great family session in the most beautiful place in the world! I cant say enough about Elaine Ferguson Photography! Elaine is awesome, very helpful and friendly, and she definitely put us all at ease (including my tween son, who normally hates being photographed). She was very unobtrusive during our ceremony, yet managed to capture all of the important moments. She also had some really creative ideas for specific poses and backgrounds that we loved! The photos are exactly what we wanted: both very personal, capturing the emotions of the day, and also very vibrant and beautiful, framed as they were against the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains, sea, sky, flowers, rocks and trees of Skye. Elaine included a wonderful mix of both posed and candid shots, and offered us both colour and black & white versions of every photo. In the one and only photo where my bra strap slipped down and was showing (which of course ended up being one of my favourites of the day), Elaine took the time to edit the bra strap out in order to make the photo perfect for framing. We had originally hired Elaine for a family portrait session to take place during our vacation in Scotland. Shortly before our trip, we decided to renew our vows on Skye, and we asked Elaine if she could accommodate changing our shoot on short notice to a wedding/family portrait combo, which she was quite happy to do at no extra charge. Since we were planning everything from home in Canada, we had some difficulty finding vendors by searching online. When we were unable to find a videographer for our ceremony, Elaine saved the day and found one for us, who also did a great job! I would highly recommend Elaine Ferguson Photography. 5 stars, 100%. If we are fortunate enough to return to Skye, we will hire Elaine again for a mobile family photo shoot around the island. Thank you so much, Elaine for perfectly capturing the memories of our special day!
