Hillstone Lodge, Russell and Patrice are gems. From the warm welcome, to their impeccably kept B&B. no detail is overlooked. The 3 lovely rooms all look out over the gorgeous landscape, water, sky, land and sheep! Excellent breakfast, thoughtfully appointed rooms, a freshly baked treat and fresh fruit placed in your room for a snack and a darling west highland terrier, too boot. Its perfection. We cant wait to return.

(Translated by Google) we've been in scotland for six weeks now and the three days we spent at hillstone lodge in early september are still having an impact. patrice and russell's home is stylish and of high quality, cozy and in a fantastic location. we immediately felt at home. the bedroom had its own small terrace, the bathroom had a double washbasin and a large shower. there was plenty of storage space, everything was well thought out and sparkling clean. Small details, such as a daily personalized note with weather forecast, times of low & high tide, sunrise & sunset or a wrapped muffin to take away in the morning, as well as finding fresh pastries in the room in the evening, made our days sweeter. otherwise we were touchingly cared for, finely cooked and lovingly entertained. nice conversations, valuable excursion and restaurant tips were given as well as selected background music and peace. the fine care products and the delicate bed linen were the icing on the cake. Many thanks and see you again soon, sandra & robert (Original) wir sind mittlerweile seit sechs wochen in schottland unterwegs und die drei tage aufenthalt in der hillstone lodge anfangs september wirken immer noch nach. das heim von patrice und russell ist stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet, heimelig und an einer traumhaften lage. wir haben uns sofort wie zu hause gefhlt. das schlafzimmer hatte eine eigene kleine terrasse, das badezimmer ein doppel-lavabo und eine grosse dusche. es gab viel stauraum, alles war gut durchdacht und blitzeblank sauber. kleine details, wie tglich einen personalisierten zettel mit wetterprognosen, zeiten von ebbe & flut, sonnenauf- & -untergang oder einen eingepackten muffin am morgen zum mitnehmen, sowie am abend ein frisches gebck im zimmer vorzufinden, haben uns die tage verssst. auch ansonsten wurden wir rhrend umsorgt, fein bekocht und liebevoll bewirtet. nette gesprche, wertvolle ausflugs- und restaurant-tipps waren ebenso gegeben wie ausgewhlte hintergrund-musik und ruhe. die feinen pflegeprodukte und die zarte bettwsche waren das tpfelchen auf dem i. herzlichen dank und auf ein baldiges wiedersehen, sandra & robert
