Lotus Animals Sanctuary

So sad tp hear that Lynn passed away. I hope that the activities in the sanctuary will start again in the future. We need more organizations like this sanctuary to protect animals. Long live to Lotus

Just back from our 2nd stay at the Lotus camping pods in Dunvegan. Not a camper but these pods are superb. Have fridge, small freezer, kettle & microwave. Great shower & toilet facility in the pod. Comfy double bed & sofa bed. Pod now has WiFi & you have your very own picnic table right outside. Short walking distance into the village, perfect location to travel to the popular attractions on Skye. Highly recommend these spotless pods.

I stayed at the Lotus heart Animal Sanctuary for 2 nights whilst over on The Isle of Skye for the half marathon. The pod i stayed in was called the dog house, and it was fantastic. Theres a fridge, a wee freezer, a kettle and a microwave. The shower and toilet in the pod are perfect. The double bed was very comfortable and there is also wifi. Aside from supporting an animal sanctuary, its in a beautiful location and can't recommend staying at any of the Lotus Camping pods highly enough. Ive not entered next years race yet however if i do, i would hope to stay here again.
