South Skye Sea Kayak

We did a full day outing with Kevin and it was fantastic! He took us down the coast and back while giving us some tips and tricks for handling the kayaks. He also took lots of photos so we didn't have to risk bringing our phones on the water. We could not have had a better day.

Brilliant experience! As a first timer, I really appreciated the guidance on technique and adapting to the ability of the group. I left feeling confident. Kevin our guide shared lots of knowledge of the local history and wildlife. We saw seals, eagles and otters. Will definitely return!

A small group of us did the beginners half day at the start of their season (March). Booking was all straight forward and communication was good. Janni and Kevin the guides we had were very friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. We had mixed ranges of experience in our group but all still took a lot from it in terms of tips and advice. The paddle itself was really fun and we were fortunate to see some wildlife (including otters). Would recommend a half day for those that want a taster or if limited on time as it didnt feel rushed at all and we got a fair bit in. Im sure a full day or longer would be even better if possible.

We were fortunate enough to be South Skye Sea Kayaks first booking of the 2023 season and we had the pleasure of being joined by Kevin for a half days kayak near Armadale, Skye. Communications, arrival and kit-out, the time on the water and return to base was all smooth. We particularly appreciated Kevins steady hand, gentle guidance and passion for and knowledge of the local area.

Highly recommend guided kayak tours with this company. We spend a lovely morning on the water watching nature and seeing Skye from a different angle. Kevin and Kevin were great guides and told us lots about the surroundings and kayaking. We look forward to come back again!
