We stayed in this familiar B&B run by Marjory and her husband. Prior to our visit she kindly and promptly replied via email to our questions and doubts. From day one, she gave us good hints about the places to visit within the island and, more important, when to visit them. Marjory and her husband prepared every morning a delicious breakfast, full of choices, from traditional options to muesli. We really loved their porridge. The rooms are cosy, classic, and well equipped. Our room had fantastic views to the loch. This B&B is very convenient for travellers who have in mind to travel to the island of Raasay since the ferry is a couple of minutes away. We would be glad to pay another visit to the island and this lovely family.

We stayed July 2022 for four nights - and it was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend - everything is so nice here! Wonderful and quiet location (central in the island so a lot of things arent too far of a drive), super spacious, very clean and very comfortable rooms. Total privacy. Excellent breakfast. Incredibly kind, sweet and genuine hosts! Marjory is so sweet, she really made us feel so welcome in her warm home. Such wonderful hosts! We would absolutely stay with her again on our next trip to Skye! In addition- theres a very charming pub just up the road (~5 minute drive) in Sligachan thats perfect to hang out at before you end the night! If you have the chance to stay here, do it!

This B&B is one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. You get a view of the magnificent Loch Sligachan and of Glamaig, both characteristic of the stunning northern landscape one comes to Skye for. Our host, Marjory, seems to have figured out all the needs of her prospective guests. Every detail in the house is carefully thought out and executed with loving concentration. The bed is super comfortable, and the shower spotless and modern. We enjoyed our hosts homemade breakfasts especially and regretted our failure to notice that there was an early supper option as well. From there you can easily drive to Portree, and the ferry terminal (for Isle of Raasay) is just a 2-minute drive. We would certainly come back for our next trip to the Hebrides!
