Glendaleview

The home, the hostess, the atmosphere and delicious food was everything my wife & I could have wanted for our honeymoon trip. Jane was attentive to our every need; very thoughtful. We chose this place because we were hoping to get a chance to see an aurora borealis, but even though the weather did not participate, we were not disappointed that wed chosen Glendale View House. We came as guests and left as friends. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing room (the separate studio flat), modern, comfortable and every creature comfort you could possibly want and more. Great service from the host who achieved that difficult balance of being attentive without being intrusive perfectly. Great breakfast to set you up for the day nicely, we also had the optional evening meal which was very welcome after a long drive One star deducted for location, it's pretty remote, but if that's what you're looking for then consider it a 5.

Jane was extremely accommodating and friendly to us all throughout our stay. We were greeted with first class service all throughout our stay with freshly made coffees and teas upon arrival. Dinner in the conservatory was extremely delicious and well prepared, generous portions and we were very satisfied. Breakfast the next day was also stunning, with an impressive selection of continental and cooked breakfast. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The rooms had everything you needed (including a coffee machine!) and had a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. The shower was really good and the beds were soft and comfortable - we had a really good night's sleep. The B&B was in a very beautiful part of Skye and we would definitely return to stay with Jane next time.

I had an amazing experience staying Glendale View ! Jane and Olivia are exceptional hosts and I could not recommend this place more. The garden room in which I stayed was spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and perfectly clean. Plus, the food was absolutely delicious. I would not hesitate to go back whenever I visit Isle of Skye again. Thank you again, Jane and Olivia !
