Barnweil Bed & Breakfast

Stayed with Johnny in October of last year! Was just talking about our trip and realized I never left this amazing man a review! We stayed in 4 different B&Bs across Scotland from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye. This was by far the most amazing stay we had! Great room, amazing food, stunning views, and the best host! Even my husband (who never raves about any accommodations weve ever been to) fell in love with this place! I wish wed stayed here for our full 2 week vacation! If youre going to Isle of Skye you will not regret staying here! BTW Johnny that Coffee Walnut gin is not shipped to the US! I guess well have to come stay awhile and stock up :)

We had truly outstanding stay and would book again if we will return to Isle of Skye. Owner Johnny is a legend, helfpul person, comedian and charismatic. We are happy to met him. Breakfast are great, location is great, facilities are quality, place is easy to find with GPS. I definitely recommend you to book Barnweil.

Just spent 3 amazing days on Skye, staying at the excellent Barnweil B&B. The location of the guest house is superb, with amazing views of Loch Bay below. The guest house is ideally situated to explore the island and if you are travelling to St. Kilda like we were, the pier at Stein is a 2 minute drive away. But the real star is the owner Johnnie. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he even got up before 6am to ensure we had breakfast before our early morning departure to St. Kilda! We have stayed in many B&Bs around the world and Barnweil is right up there with the best of them. Johnnie however, is the best host bar none. Thanks for an amazing stay and we will be back (if you'll have us ).
