We were traveling around looking for a place to stay, everyone told us they were fully booked. Then we came across John and his bnb (this was in march so out of peak)... He could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Gave us a lovely bed for the night. Also made us some cracking suggestions and a beautiful breakfast in the morning. Amazing place, amazing hospitality!!!!

I had the chance to visit Skye very last minute for two nights during my visit to Scotland in mid September. Bayview BnB was able to accommodate me, and it could not have been a more perfect stay. Jonathan was so welcoming, the breakfast delicious, and the property is very comfortable and cozy. Elgol is a small village, and is a bit more out of the way, but that is what makes this place special, and the drive beautiful. If I ever go back (and I hope I do!), I would follow Jonathans advice and do the boat tour into the mountains that starts just down the road in the bay.

The best place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the most beautiful part of Isle Of Skye for hikes and walks (much less touristic which we loved! We spent the first half of our trip in Portree. Coming to Elgol for the last few days was a nice change!) We had an amazing time! Expect cozy and comfortable room, powerful warm shower, the most delicious homemade food and beautiful bay views just at your doorstep. Jonathan and Aneta are the most lovely couple and incredible hosts. They made us feel like home from the very first minute. Definitely would love to come back!
