Honestly lovely place, food was great and good service. However, we witnessed one of the service staff being berated in a demeaning way by what appeared to be his supervisor. That staff member was doing a fine job and did not deserve to be treated that way. Left me and my partner with a sour experience.

Really good food, very friendly staff. I was disappointed that the vegetarian roast option didnt come with the same sides as the meat roasts, even though the Yorkshire pudding etc was vegetarian. I also wasnt told that the veggie wellington wasnt part of the Sunday lunch 2 course deal so was surprised by that in the bill, especially because they were out of the only vegetarian option that was included. A shame about these couple of things because the food was very good. Edit: Thanks for replying to me. However, I asked the waiter who checked with the kitchen and was specifically told that the Yorkshire Pudding was suitable for vegetarians. I then had some from my mum's meal so I very much hope it was actually vegetarian as I was told. I also looked at the bill and as separate starter and main it was 2 more expensive than the set menu. 2 is a small amount and not really worth quibbling over, however it was more expensive and wasn't communicated that it wasn't part of the set menu.
