Be Seated

Id totally recommend Be Seated. We were searching for a new sofa to replace our existing one but couldnt find one we liked and didnt want to buy one online without trying it. We went to Peter who has reupholstered it and it looks fabulous. Advice and choice of fabrics is excellent and craftsmanship is too. So happy with our new old sofa.

Delighted with our Carlton sofa! Peter took the time to discuss fabric choice and incorporated style adjustments to suit our specification. I was also able to check the comfort and look of the sofa before finalising the upholstery. A beautiful bespoke piece of furniture which I am sure will look good and last for many years to come.

Peter expertly reupholstered an Edwardian chair and it can now remain a family favourite for many more years to come. I really trusted his judgement and advice and the final results were excellent. Very happy with my new chair!

Peter has just transformed a vintage Guy Rogers 3 piece suite which had been neglected for many years, and a similarly well worn Edwardian Chaise Longue. Peter's craftsmanship is just superb - the workmanship on the chaise longue, which was quite an intricate piece, is just exquisite. He did a fantastic job. Not only that, he responded to my initial query very promptly, took the time to discuss each piece in detail and advise on fabric, and the entire project took around 5 weeks from collection. Can't recommend him highly enough.

It was satisfying to have an old chair restored rather than replaced but doubly satisfying to see it done so expertly. We're thrilled by Peters work and now have somehing which will be an enduring pleasure. We were mired in indecision initially and Peter gave us time and advice which proved most helpful. Written on a phone whilst sitting in a comfy armchair.
