Ben gave us a brilliant tour through the vaults under South Bridge with lots of interesting stories and history. He made us laugh and interacted well with the group, but also knew his facts and seemed genuinely passionate about Edinburgh history. The tour took around 1.5 hours, including a fair amount of time above ground explaining how the city was built and then changed over time (which I was not expecting, but very interesting).

(Translated by Google) I couldn't have had a better guide! A very professional person, who tells the stories with great seriousness and enthusiasm, a truly extraordinary job. It was an unforgettable visit. Extraordinary and "dark" places I really thank our guide for this wonderful moment he gave us. Merci Eloy

I really wanted to see the city underground and this tour seemed the least ghost-tour-like. We heard so much history, which was all super interesting, but then the guide ended with scary stories. I didn't really like that. They will also turn the lights off for a minute or two, so if you don't like that, don't go. The air is thick with mold, so if you have trouble breathing think twice about joining. There will be lots of just standing and listening. Be aware of that.

I am not usually one for a tour, but the double dead tour was great. Beth, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and quite a hoot. She told great stories and while making us laugh, respected those that she spoke about. I really like that this tour used actual history to tell it's stories and it didn't rely on gimmicks to make something happen. I do wish our graveyard portion would have been a tad longer, I'm a huge graveyard fan, but otherwise I would very highly recommend. I'm not adding pictures because they aren't needed. The experience of it all is more than enough. Thanks Beth.
