The tour was okay. Came with audio guide. The content could have been more interesting but I guess the whole point is not to educate us but rather to impress tourists. The palace was smaller and the interior was 'older' than I expected (creaky floorboards and colour faded tartans). But then again the focus is on display of power and wealth of the royal famiky, not efficiency. It is a place you must visit while in Edinburgh but the tour itself is not really impressive especially as it lacked 'good' historical content.

(Original) Precioso palacio que tena mucha ilusin por cocer, no pude entrar hasta el interior pero puede disfrutar de la tienda de souvenirs y me encant tena de todo para poder llevar recuerdos de tu paso por el palacio. El palacio se encuentra en la parte opuesta al Castillo de Edimburgo, es decir la distancia entre el Palacio y el Castillo se conoce como la ROYAL MILE. El Palacio es la residencia oficial de la familia real cuando se encuentran en Escocia. Me ha encantado y lo he disfrutado, por conocerlo de cerca y ver lo hermoso que es. Muy recomendable.
