I had the most wonderful tour with The Hairy Coo. It was a small group tour with people from different regions. Mr. Scott, our tour guide, was outstanding - incredibly nice and helpful, with an excellent blend of history and local knowledge, and fantastic throughout, providing a running commentary on what we were seeing and visiting. The playlist on the bus was excellent and perfectly matched to the places we visited. The entire trip felt more like traveling with friends.I felt at ease and secure. Everything was perfectly timed. I visited many beautiful locations and learned a lot about Scottish history. This tour is highly recommended for anyone interested in Highland tours. at the end of our trip we felt as if we were saying goodbye to a good friend. Time and money well spent. Thank you for making my vacation in Scotland so unforgettable. Scott and The Hairy Coo tours --The Best !

Amazing Tour. Our bus driver Caroline was incredible & our guide Natalie was very professional & knowledgeable. We enjoyed every minute. From Australia and we got to see all the main sites & were not rushed. Com

The highlands are so beautiful and it was so wonderful to see them on our day tour to the loch Ness and Highlands from Edinburgh. The tour itself was lackluster. Not a great value for our money. I've done a tour like this with another company and I'm sure I'll do it again, it just won't be with this tour company.

"By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes", as we rolled into Edinburgh following our 3-day Isle of Skye, Inverness & Highlands Tour, Michael played this beautiful song, capping off a fantastic three days. We couldnt have asked for a better guide. Michael was a great driver, story-teller and always attentive to his passengers (people, just tell the guide if the music is too loud, bus is too cold, etc.). For anyone looking to dip their feet into the Scottish Highlands, this is the perfect tour. 1 hour each for Culloden and the Highland Folk Museum is not enough, but the tour is meant to give you a cursory overview of all the highlights, so then when you come back on your own, you will be able to design your own itinerary!

Overall I liked the day trip to Glencoe and Lochness. What it is: It is a trip to Glencoe and Lochness coupled with a guide telling you the significance of places and history of Scotland. What it isnt: It is not a road trip! The bus wont stop at all the places you want it to and all for the duration you want it to, if you want that better to drive a car there. In 12 hours you see 2 very different and very beautiful places. What I liked: 1. Frequent (short) stops to enjoy the scenery and use the facilities 2. The driver / guide Ryan was engaging, sometimes even enacting scenes from movies about Scotland with sound effects and everything 3. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and with the daytime being long in May, we got to enjoy the views throughout the trip What I didnt like: 1. While the commentary was engaging, it was non-stop, and I wished there was silence atleast for a part of the journey. 2. If you dont do the boat ride, there isnt much to explore in Lochness. It is a small pretty town with no other activity to offer. Maybe include another option for an activity? Overall for 67 I found it worth it and would recommend
