I'd like to endorse her excellent listening skills, flexibility, communication and proactive approach.
Lucy isn't afraid to take action - in what has proved to be a difficult role.
For instance, a situation arose with the client, who were overseeing the Census.
This client was not fulfilling their responsibilities, with regards to payments and other technical issues.
As a Field worker (Enumerator) I felt this was very incompetent - having gone on for 6 or 7 weeks, without pay!
I informed Lucy, who wrote a very candid email to resolve the matter, stating the client's gross mis-management of the situation.
She is a great example of a 1st class NRS line manager.
