Very poor from start to finish. My partner and I visited here yesterday and from the beginning it was really bad. We stood at the door for ages without being acknowledged once. We finally got sat down after a while and ordered both drinks and food at the same time. We didnt get the name of our server but she was absolutely lovely. After ordering both food and drinks, my partners food came first within 3 minutes of ordering whilst we watched our drinks sitting on the bar area for about 10 minutes after this. We then proceeded to wait an extra 20 minutes for my food to arrive and by this time my partner had already finished theirs The food its self was nothing special with the Katsu chicken being refried on order hence why it only took a few minutes to arrive after ordering. Parts of the dish were freezing and uncooked whilst others were roasting hot. Once my food arrived I had the same issue with my ramen broth being boiling hot whilst the chicken and egg in the dish were stone cold. After we finished our food we got the bill we then proceeded to wait for another 20 minutes to try make payment after trying to get the attention of a server for all that time. Overall was a very poor experience.

Great service and delicious food. I visited here for dinner and had the black garlic ramen and my partner had the vegetarian miso ramen. Both dishes were delicious and well presented. Our server was super friendly and very attentive especially given how busy they were as the restaurant was almost full. I never felt rushed. The atmosphere was nice and there was plenty to choose from on the menu for many dietary needs. The only thing I wish was that this branch of Maki and Ramen had desserts. However, I understand this is a limitation of the kitchen and there are plenty of places nearby to get a sweet treat if you want dessert. I would recommend visiting here for a tasty filling meal full of Asian flavours. They have lots of branches over the city so you can try them wherever you are.
