The Original Mosque Kitchen & Cafe

Parked very close to this cafe today (29/04/23) but didn't go in (alreadyhadlunch). Given 4 stars just for the aroma drifting by from the kitchen, superb !

It was my first time in this one, I always assumed it was linked to the one around the corner on the street, not the case it seems. The people in here are much more friendly than the shop, the folks who work in the MK shop are dour beyond belief. I have the lamb Bhuna, I was happy with mine, good amount of meat and sauce. My Fianc had the chicken Tikka Masala, I didn't like that at all. It was bland. There are plenty of options, including a number of daily specials. The Value for money is still excellent here. In the MK shop, prices have gone up a good bit, you kinda wonder whether that place is worth it anymore. It would seem the Original Mosque Kitchen is the winner now for tastiest, wallet friendly food.
