Venture Photography

Shocking. Phoned today to collect our photos to find the place has been shut down without warning. No one you phone has any clue what is going on or how/when we will get our photos. Looks like they have closed the Scotland ones but take this as a warning, avoid this company like the plague.

If I could put a 0 star I would totally do it. Got pictures taken at the end of November and got a call on the 23rd to tell me to come and collect the pictures anytime in January. But guess what ?? It is closed and NO ONE has came in contact with me so far. This is unacceptable. I am rather disappointed and hope that I will see the color of my pictures.

TL/DR way to expensive and bordering on sleazy. I got a free voucher for a photoshoot through Emma's Diary, so I phoned as this sounded amazing for a single mum on maternity leave. The shoot itself was fine, although the studio is awkward to get to without a car. The salesman after totally took advantage and I ended up spending way more than I wanted, but was promised (I even phoned again later to ask this as I buyers remorse but they said it couldn't be changed now) that if I paid the loan back within 12 months that I would not incur any extra costs. No I had simply misunderstood what the contract said. I am now back at work so went into my account to pay (shoot was in August 2022 , it's now January 2023) and the settlement fee is already 15. I phoned Venture studios and was told they stopped trading but to e-mail them. I did, but received no reply. I am aware this was only earlier today, but as the settlement fee builds daily (apparently) I did not want to wait any longer to pay it. I am disgusted and have felt thoroughly taken advantage off ever since the photographer said digital pictures only would cost almost a grand!! I ended up getting 5 10x8 en 10 digital pictures(495 - a special offer..) instead of the free 5x7 one that came with the voucher and absolutely regret it.

Absolutely disgusted at this place we had pictures taken on 3/12/22 and when we viewed them on 10/12/22 were told theyd be ready before Christmas, we got an email on 22/12/22 @ 17.59 to say they were ready to collect, since then nothing the whole place has shut down and we cant get in contact with anybody- 570 for our photos. Disgusted at this.
