I had a very negative experience at an International womens group here. They meet on a Wednesday morning and I was told I wasn't welcome to come back as the space was for international women (I am from the rebublic of Ireland and live locally so I thought this would be a suitable group). To make matters worse I went there with a friend of mine who is from China who was warmly welcomed. It was a humiliating and a very racist experience as I was the only person excluded from the group. I asked if this was a group to learn English incase I understood the purpose of the group wrong and I was told no it was an International womens group for women from different countries to meet (although I was excluded from this). If you are going to limit what nationalities are allowed you should advertise that on your poster pinned to the outside church door instead of boasting that you include everyone - as advertised on your Facebook page, which clearly is not true. I hope this post helps others to avoid this negative experience.

The only Catholic Church of Scotland in Edinburgh. This building would fit into any Italian town or city.
