I have been learning piano with Katya for several years and I have greatly enjoyed my lessons with her. I started learning piano with Katya as a mature novice and have found the lessons so rewarding. I can safely say I have been a challenging pupil but Katya has been remarkable in her endless patience and guidance. Just before we went into lockdown I sat my first piano exam, Grade 4 (Trinity) and achieved a Merit. I was delighted with this result and I can highly recommend Katya as a wonderful piano teacher.

Katya is an excellent piano tutor. Shes patient, diligent and committed to supporting children to grow in confidence as well as competence. The opportunity to perform in concerts that she organises annually are an added bonus and really help with getting used to playing in front of others. I wish Id had an instructor like her as a child!

Katya is a wonderful piano teacher. - She has many creative methods to help a student practice efficiently. - She has a professional attitude to teach according to student's ability/age. - She knows loads of good teaching materials. - She teaches not only how to play the correct notes but how to interpret the piece from the early stage so that even a small child can explore the depth of music!! In that sense, her expectation is very high, but it's very important. - She respects her student. Her lesson is more like a corporation work with her student to understand the music. Our son always enjoyed her lesson!
