EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! From the moment we stepped foot in Gibson & Syme we were warmly welcomed by their kind, attentive and professional staff. Having only discovering my need for glasses a year or so ago, the process of getting my eyes tested more frequently is a bit alien. However, any uncertainties or questions I had about this process were diligently met by their expert specialists. During my eye test, I was thoroughly examined by state of the art machinery and talked through each stage of the process step by step. During appointments such confident, personable and reassuring customer service is truly invaluable and appreciated. After discovering that my prescription needed an update, we had the opportunity to select frames from a large catalogue of different styles and brands. When trying on different glasses in front of the mirror - despite taking ages - at no point did we feel rushed or hurried to make a decision. Staff were more than happy to give us time, whilst also offering us help and advice when it was required. Glasses in their beautiful showroom are comparatively priced, with many affordable options that still look extremely elegant and stylish. All in all, I will continue to use Gibson & Syme as my opticians and eyewear specialist in the future. Should you be considering using their services soon, please take my advice and book without delay.

Great service from friendly staff, great choice of frames and had my new glasses within a week, unbelievable considering it took a High st competitor best was 12 days!! Well done guys

My husband and I choose to travel approx 40 miles round trip to Gibson Syme, and have done for many years. The friendly staff are true professionals using hi-tec equipment and offer expert assistance and advice. They stock a wide range of modern frames to suit all tastes and I always end up with exciting frames. Well worth a visit !!
