I have been going to Spectacles Outlet for a good few years for both buying glasses and for eye tests. What I really appreciate about the staff completing the eye tests (and having a family history of glaucoma) is that they take the time to explain everything, what the up to date medical thoughts are and what the condition of your eyes are now and how this compares with previous tests. Very pleased with the high standards of care and attention I receive - thank you.

My mum had a fall earlier in the week and ended up with a big black eye and broken specs. After asking around, I got her opticians to email her most recent prescription and directed her towards Spectacles Outlet, mainly because of their fast turnaround times. My mum was walking round in a blur. She now has her new specs. The price was great. The service was great. The glasses fit great. The turnaround time was super-fast. So ... great all round. Would highly recommend.

First visited a year ago with my husband as we both needed a eye test , customer service fantastic from everyone , relaxed and friendly staff and we both selected glasses we loved as such a big choice . Really good advice given as it was the first time for both needing glasses, and so much cheaper than expected. Have recommended to family who have also shopped here and also delighted. They picked up a problem with my mum and shes now attending the eye hospital. Would not go anywhere else

I have received wonderful service at Spectacles Outlet since I discovered their operation at Peffer Place a number of years ago. I can highly recommend them to anyone wishing to upgrade their current spectacles, or are in the market for their first pair of glasses. Tony, the optician in residence, is highly skilled, and puts you at ease throughout the examination. This is a friendly, family owned business which manufactures your lenses in the factory adjacent to the shop, meaning they can't be beaten on price. My work in the printing industry requires that my optical health is at a premium at all times. At Spectacles Outlet my prescription has been spot on every time! I have recommended Spectacles Outlet to many of my friends and family who have been similarly impressed with their service. I understand that they also recently opened a branch in Musselburgh. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their excellent assistance over the years.
