I wish to draw the Chief Medical Officers attention to the plight of residents living in remote rural areas. These areas have a greater area for the growing of crops, but over the last decade more and more growth has been made from Oilseed rape. This in its self is highly toxic to many people and the high rate of allergies found in these areas is very concerning. I live near to Town Yetholm and I'm advised that a high percentage of residents are suffering due to the growing of this crop. Surely at least look in to the high demand for allergy reliefs being sought,The numbers of folk having to have time off work etc. It really isn't right that we cannot breathe clean air without having these high pollen yielding plants thrust upon us. Please spare some time looking in to our plight, it is increasing year on year.We don't benefit the farmer does but we suffer.Respectfully Marc Anthony
