All About Eve

Amazing job with gel nails. Unfortunately don't know the name of the lovely girl who did my nails but she did a fab job with a tricky chunky glitter polish. I've genuinely never had gel nails last so long - only one chipped after four weeks and they only need doing again because they're growing out! They were good enough for a wedding three+ weeks after I had them done and survived three weeks of tough work during Edinburgh Fringe. Wish I lived nearby and could come regularly! Only one note - I struggled to find the place at first as it's not the shop front shown in the photos but part of the hairdressers which is located where the map sends you.

Shockingly unprofessional - Cancelled manicure/pedicure booking at short notice, the day prior to my holiday. The now universal excuse ; short staffed - "employee is off sick with covid ! Cancelled at 11.45 a couple hours prior to my appointment. If true, at the very least, should have cancelled first thing in the morning. Possibly allowing time to find somewhere else. Ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!

Ruined my girlfriends nails, she was very upset as it was a special weekend away. Polite as ever she didn't say anything at the time, she just wanted to get out and carry on with our trip. Very dissapointing, I booked because of the good reviews.
