        This was my go-to nail salon for a year while I lived in Edinburgh. It's a family business I believe, so the quality of work does vary a bit depending on who you get. But for the most part if you want a nice, solid set of acrylics or a gel mani for a very reasonable price, they're very reliable. My besties and I went every 2 weeks or so, and we almost never had any issues with our results. They always remembered us and were super sweet, and the couple of times I broke a nail and had to pop in for a repair, they were quick and never charged me extra for the fix. I knew folks who were spending 50-60 GBP to get a full set at other salons, so I was thankful for New York Nails and its affordability! And my nails looked just as good as those more expensive ones.
