First Mortgage

Recently my husband and i have sold our house and bought another. Aisling and Morgan have been absolutely amazing with helping us through this process. They were both extremely quick to respond to any questions we had (which was a lot!!) and explained everything so we completely understood what was going on. Would highly recommended to anyone.

As a first time buyer I approached first mortgage a bit unsure as to what to expect. The entire experience was simple, straightforward and totally stress free. Joanne met with me and went over exactly what I needed, taking time to explain everything before very quickly getting back to me with mortgage options to apply for. A second meeting let her complete the application and the result was a quick acceptance from the lender. During the entire period I was kept up to date of exactly what was happening thanks to Kirsty and I never needed to chase them up about anything. I would highly recommend first mortgage to anyone, especially if you get Joanne & Kirsty.

I can't recommend First Mortgage highly enough. And specifically Aisling and Morgan, who have both been absolutely fantastic! I'm a second time buyer, but it was so long since I went through the process the last time, it was all a bit of a blur. A few different friends pointed me to First Mortgage, so I went into the Leith Walk branch in Edinburgh for an initial chat with Aisling. At that point, I really just wanted to get a better grasp of the mortgage process and next steps, but I was blown away by how helpful, knowledgeable and effective Aisling was. By the end of that day, she had already sorted and sent me my mortgage in principle certificate, meaning I was able to start booking viewings. Once I'd had an offer accepted on a flat, I went to see Aisling again. She and Morgan had already found the best mortgage deal for me prior to the appointment and done the initial checks, and after going over it in detail with me, answering all my questions, they submitted the application. Morgan contacted me the following day to say it had already been approved and passed along the paperwork from the lender. They made this potentially confusing and highly stressful process feel so easy, taking the anxiety and uncertainty out of it with their expertise and supportive approach. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience - and to top it off, this five star service was 100% free! I've already recommended First Mortgage to one friend who's currently flat hunting, and going forward I'll be singing their praise to anyone I know or speak to who's looking to buy a property. This was my 2nd time working with First Mortgage on a flat purchase, and as before, I could not have asked for a better experience. The team (particularly Kenny) are all really friendly, helpful, and incredibly efficient. I felt they really took the time to make sure we fully understood everything and completely trusted them to help guide us towards the best deal in a very timely manner. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
