You will get attitude when returning goods. Redhead lady, which I assume was someone in management, instructed me to use changing room before buying if I had time I certainly would you silly woman.

Don't ever work or volunteer here. In only 6 months I was harassed by the managers son, verbally assaulted by both manager and assistant manager, belittled, witnessed their nasty treatment towards volunteers especially those with disabilities. Customer service is embarrassing to see when coming from both manager and assistant manager. They purposely try to cause altercations if they don't like the look of a customer. How these people are still in their positions is beyond me. Vile people.

I had bad experience with manager today. This lady is very rude. I'm really surprise that after so many bad comments about her British Heart Foundation do nothing.

I honestly do not understand why this shop has had so many poor reviews as they do not reflect my experiences in any way. I'm a regular at this shop, and go in several times a week for years. This shop is incredibly well maintained, immaculate compared to most charity shops. The staff (volunteers included) obviously take great pride in their work and they have always been friendly and helpful, this goes for the manager too despite some of the other comments about her. The volunteers clearly trust her, and I've seen her on more than one occasion standing up to customers that are treating the volunteers poorly. My one criticism is not directed towards this particular shop, but to BHF as a whole. It is shocking how regularly people steal from them, but it seems they are left to deal with it themselves. I've seen the police in there discussing incidents on several occasions. Overall, this store is a great place to visit. Management needs to provide better security for staff, before someone follows through with the threats they make.
