I recently had a wonderful experience with Thompson's Motors and would highly recommend their services to anyone in Edinburgh in need of car maintenance. After taking my car to another garage for its MOT and being informed that it had failed due to 19 defects, I brought it to Thompson's and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were able to pass it with only 2 advisories. Paul, the mechanic who assisted me, took the time to show me my car and explain each issue that had been previously identified by the other garage, but which he believed did not require any corrective action for the MOT. He even fixed a dangerous defect for me at no additional cost, which the other garage had tried to charge me 37 for, as he deemed it to be a minor issue. Overall, the service was quick, efficient, and completely honest. I am thrilled to have found a reliable and trustworthy garage like Thompson's and will be sure to use them for all my future car maintenance needs. done the job of changing two brake pipe and inner cover boot and exhaust only rear part of a very cheap car. Peugeot 107. all parts on the internet in euro car parts for a total of 160/170 and I was charged 5 hours for small jobs! in total 559.00? with test Mot.

Just had the MOT done at this superb garage, very helpful and knowledgeable staff who certainly go the extra mile with customers service. Honest work and good prices. Highly recommend.
