Rettie & Co. Edinburgh Lettings

We rented a flat from Rettie for our first 6 months in Edinburgh. They were easy to work with, did a great job facilitating communication with the landlord, were prompt on getting things fixed when they broke (such as the boiler), and returned our full deposit at move-out, no hassle. In all, we had a very positive experience with them as a letting agent and would happily rent from them again.

Rettie was honestly a great agency to rent from, especially with all the horror stories about other agencies in Edinburgh. They did not make us pay for anything unnecessarily such as light bulb changes or plumbing issues. They also gave us back our full desposit with absolutely no fuss. Alana Shepherd was our property manager and she did a stellar job! I would highly recommend Rettie.

We've been letting out our property with Rettie for the past 5 years and cannot recommend Rettie enough. We've had the same Rettie property manager (Iwona) over the period and she is highly competent, diligent and professional. The quality of service has been fantastic and she has a great friendly attitude. There have been a few minor issues with the property over the years and Rettie have dealt with them quickly and professionally, and they've also always managed to get new tenants quickly and at competitive rental rates. We've worked with other letting / property management agents before and it has been a nightmare; not the case with Rettie and it has been a pleasure working with them.

Rettie did a great job of managing my flat over many years. They found an excellent tenant and ensured that everything went smoothly. I encountered no problems at all. Jessica went the extra mile in looking after the flat, securing necessary quotes for any work due and organising cleaning and handover. Thoroughly recommended.
