Avis Car Hire - Edinburgh

I rented a car from Avis Edinburgh in August 2022 and had a fantastic experience. Despite some negative reviews that made me hesitant, the staff provided excellent service. Although the car I booked wasn't available, they offered me a similar vehicle, an Audi A4. During my rental, I noticed scratches on all of the alloy wheels that concerned me, but I didn't spot them during the initial inspection. When I returned the car, the staff member informed me that the scratches were pre-existing and apologized for forgetting to register them in the system. Their honesty and integrity were impressive, and they didn't charge me for the damage. Overall, I had a 5-star experience with Avis Edinburgh. The staff were helpful, genuine, and went out of their way to provide great service. I highly recommend renting from Avis Edinburgh and would do so again in the future.

We were 4 girls and we rented a car for a few days to visit the Highlands. The service and availability of avis was excellent. Thanks especially to Valeria, the girl who served us, who was kind, helpful and clear on all the answers and information we needed. Fast and efficient service as well as cheap. We suggest!

We had an amazing experience with our rental in Scotland. The reservation was great- reminders came through every few weeks and the day before we picked up. The pick up location was basic, but we didnt stay long since they were all ready for us and the car was brought around quickly. Everything was lovely in the car, and it rode beautifully on those narrow, Scottish country roads. The drop-off at the airport was great too- took less than 10min and they were all so friendly. Will recommend to friends!!! Thank you!

Very easy rental with Avis Edinburgh. Pick-up from the city branch was simple & speedy, then drop to the airport just as much. We had a slightly older car than usual but it was in top condition & in a higher category than booked, so no issue whatsoever. Can't ask for more than that... although plenty of experience really renting suggests not everyone makes it that straightforward. Happy customer & will certainly use again, thanks.
