St Leonards Medical Centre

If you have anything thats complex or non-typical, you will be fobbed off. I saw a couple doctors because they were so busy I couldnt consistently see my own, and none of them helped. One of the male practitioners even told me, well, if youve always had [this joint pain], theres not much I can do. Took me moving GPs for them to realise I had a hypermobility spectrum disorder, and that there were precautions I could take to avoid further pain/damage. I wouldnt recommend this GP to anyone. Too busy to get proper care.

Always had a great experience with this medical centre, been with them for two years now. Very friendly and professional staff and Ive never had to wait an unreasonable time for an appointment. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience at this GP. Felt that the doctor did not take me, or my symptoms, seriously and was patronizing me for the medications that I currently take because I did not know the Scottish equivalents of them compared to the US. I left without any help, medication, or advice on how to get better besides that my symptoms will eventually go away. The doctor also decided to tell me to eat healthier to solve my problems, although I eat extremely healthy already, she told me I was doing it wrong. As I am currently sick and need an antibiotic, she told me that I should change my diet and will get better eventually. No help. Dont go here. I hate that all other GPs around me are full so Im stuck with this one for the year that Im here.
