Davison Menswear and Kilt Hire The formal wear specialists

Visited shop today along with my brother who'd travelled through from Glasgow especially to organise kilt hire for his wedding. Chose davisons as had previous good experiences. Unfortunately store was closed without any explanation (when checking online it said it was open as usual, 10-5). Tried to phone shop multiple times and also their out of hours mobile phone number (this rang out multiple times before being switched off). Was also with my 3 year old son who was excited about getting his first kilt. Complete waste of time travelling in and out of Edinburgh for this. Appreciate that sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances which might require closure at short notice but perhaps a sign on the door or answering the mobile number intended 'for 24 hr use' would have been helpful rather than us waiting around brunstfield for several hours to see if the store might open...

Terrific. David wished he'd have had suspenders to hold up that heavy kilt. Drop off Return at Brunsfield Hotel went smooth as silk. THANK YOU!!

Great shop, John is extremely helpful & went the extra mile to ensure my kilt was ready for my friends wedding. Only place I go for my kilt.
