Professional, detailed and very personable. I bought a house and McD & McQ were my solicitor. The service was great, the fees were all explained very clearly and how the LBTT would change with each property on which I noted interest. All emails were answered and on occasion when I did not understand the legalese, my telephone calls were returned and an explanation given. Very good service and I would happily use them again.

Absolutely brilliant service from McDougall McQueen recently when I had to sell my Mum's house to fund her nursing home fees. All interactions with their team from my initial enquiry right through to after sale queries were dealt with in a very timely manner. The team were really supportive and helpful and very sympathetic to my situation as everything had to be done from a distance as I am not local. They went over and above to help facilitate things like lock changes, taking final meter readings etc. It was a really seamless, professional, friendly and supportive service - highly recommend. Thank you to all at McD & McQ but special thanks to Alasdair Matheson and Susan Oates who could not have been any more helpful, responsive and reassuring throughout the whole process!
