Highly recommend My 2013 vivaro was having running issues lights on the dash with emission and injection messages,Took to a garage,the dpf was blocked and an open glow circuit,the dpf was cleaned,van collected and was driving good,for a week!the same garage wasnt interested in replacing the glow plugs in fear of snapping,then I was recommended to go to Rentec ,so I did, Gave them a call,spoke with Ella and was booked in the following week,that week felt like a fortnight, So I slowly drove the van to them quick chat and away I went, Got a call from Barrie who explained what they found and what was possibly causing the problem,the dpf was blocked again and the open glow circuit was popping up, So they changed the glow plugs,cleaned the dpf,service and a seal on the cooling system, got van back for quoted price,happy days,but it doesnt end there. When speaking with Barrie he asked me to go back with the van after Id driven it for a couple of weeks get a few miles on the clock so he could rescan it and Im happy to say,its been back and its got a healthy happy pdf, Top work Rentec.thanks Barrie and Ella for your help

Please read complete review. I had a very complex problem. No warning lights showing on the display. Brakes working under normal conditions wet or dry etc! However snow and ice round Penicuik beginning of January revealed a frightening experience, touch brakes lightly and all wheels locked and skid to a halt, foot brake was on the floor with NO ABS pulsating .Even removing foot from brake pedal did nothing totally out of control until car came to rest, then normal braking returned for short period then back to full lockup. This is extremely dangerous, imagine 70 mph on motorway. Took to a garage for full Diagnosis and surprise NO FAULT CODES IT MUST BE MY IMAGINATION! Two Renault dealers diagnosed New ABS pump required quoted 2200 from one and 1608 from highly respected dealer in Peebles. Online found Rentec with excellent reviews. This was not straight forward repair but Barrie proved himself to be an excellent and honourable garage owner. He sent ABS pump for rebuild and have an excellent warranty on my repaired ABS pump. My cheapest quote as already stated was 1600 .Rentec Auto are less than half that figure Many thanks Barrie.5 Mike Blewitt Service: Brakes
