My wife, Sheena, bravely held out until my first birthday as man and wife together. On that day, I got a great gift - she got admitted to hospice, as she wanted. She passed away a day later. Going to hospice was the best decision for many reasons. All the staff were fantastic. The nurses were compassionate and genuinely cared for their patients, always citing it as a privilege. The medical care, I could not have done at home. She passed away with as much dignity as possible. I went back a day later with questions and they were a great help. I cannot recommend Marie Curie highly enough. I will be making larger monthly donations from now on. A heartfelt thank you from myself, the family... and I'm sure from Sheena... Thank you. Addition to original review: sadly my mum passed from cancer last year and thankfully the team were able to look after her. I will be editing my will such that part of my estate foes toward Marie Curie. Thank you.

My wife was here for several weeks. She had constant care day and night. She recovered sufficiently to return home for her remaining weeks during which she was regularly attended by Marie Curie carers. After her passing they have frequently been in touch with me to help with my grief .
