Wester Hailes Medical Practice

An unprecedented situation, I have not encountered such disregard for patients as in this center. Can someone finally fix the problem of not answering phones, appointments, not calling back, not being able to see a doctor? What's going on there? In no other center is it as bad as there!!!

This place is a joke. Everything takes "a couple of days", so you come back three days later only to get told to come back tomorrow. There must be some sort of inefficiency in how the place is run because there's absolutely no need for how slow this place is, and I've never experienced another medical practice so embarrassingly awful. Staff don't care and act either totally clueless, or as if you're inconveniencing them. Some cheek from some of the receptionists as well, although a couple are nice. Back home you can phone up and get your prescription delivered right to your door the very next day. Here, you have to physically GO to the place (multiple times just for one prescription) just to get told to come back later. Imagine if somebody needed heart medication or had a serious mental illness and they had to go to this place. They'd be dead, surely. A woman before me was crying to the receptionist over how her family member was being treated by a doctor and the receptionist did not seem to care or try to resolve anything. Any time you phone up you're lucky to get through without being on hold for an hour (I doubt they're actually doing anything, they never are when I'm there) and you'll be treated like scum and told "that's just the way it is". I implore anyone who can to find somewhere else to go. I almost feel like this place needs investigated. Something is seriously wrong.

Been trying to call since Friday last week. Rude staff yet again and no meds. Again. Between this place and the pharmacy this place is an absolute joke. Useless and entitled 'staff '

You sit on hold with them for over an hour maybe even two, only for them to pick up and hang up straight away, not helpful when trying to call in about mental health, could literally be the last straw for someone because it honestly makes you feel so small and uncared for when they just ignore your call on purpose.
