you better double check and compare tag prices with what they charge you, bought three items, two of them were more expensive than tagged price

If you just make one stop for souvenir shopping, this place is it. Not only is it a Princes St original (make sure you check out their shopfront), they even have a tearoom (unfortunately closed for most of January.) They have the biggest variety of all possible gifts from Scotland - notably the biggest range of whisky fudges, biscuits, alcohol samplers, but so many fashion items too, even slate homeware which I didnt see anywhere else - with a range of prices. It had a real magic bazaar feel to it (with a Scottish twist), because of the size of the shop & the dizzying amount of choices. Also helpful that they have promos, sales items by the counters & bundle deals for those who need a haul to bring home to family & friends. If you're looking for generic china-made souvenirs like magnets, keychains, they admittedly have a smaller variety of these, but you can head to any shop on the Royal Mile for those anyway. Just past that section is walls of tiny bottles of whisky, gin (& there might have been rum too), representing all the distilling regions & so many of the distillers. This section is worth exploring even on its own just to see everything. Had to stop myself from getting a tiny bottle of evetything! Of course, they have the full bottles as well, which you can ask them to pack for your luggage situation.
