Wex Photo Video Edinburgh

Visited Wex, Edinburgh yesterday to purchase a lens cover. Explained an issue I was experiencing with an app to download photos from camera to phone and Carlos kindly offered to take a look at this for me. He took the time to explore the different possibilities to resolve the problem and managed to get the app working in sync with the camera again. Cant thank Carlos enough for his excellent customer service and Wex will be my first port of call going forward!

I visited this 'Edinburgh' store in Leith earlier this month. It is a good place for advice & support. Having had some recommendations from friends about buying s/h kit, I went to this store for some hands-on experience for three cameras with inter-changeable lens. I was new to digital photography, other than compacts and iPhone. The instore 'consultant' I spoke to was very helpful, giving advice in a very John Lewis, soft-sell manner. I held and assessed the feel of the three models I had in mind. I soon knew which one I wanted - needless to say it was the most expensive - in fact the new model was way out of my budget. Ended up buying an earlier model s/h online from Wex. If I take to digital photography, then Vanessa has laid the basis for having me as a loyal customer. Many thanks.

Carlos was SO helpful in aiding me to decide on the best camera and lens to buy and sorted me out with some amazing second hand deals, couldnt have wished for better service
