Budget Car Hire

(EDIT) I have tried to contact you on social media. No answer at all. They took my money without any reason and it is impossible to contact them. Awful A month and a half after I rented a car with then, I received a 60 pounds charge in my bank account with no information plus I have emailed them without any answer. Can anybody please contact me to explain the charge?

I actually did not have any difficulties. Pick-up and drop-off were smooth. Deducted a star because the car seemed poorly maintained- the tires were almost bald and the dash was dominated by a "Service overdue by 9000 miles" warning the I could not clear. Also wound up with a Mercedes which was overly complicated and there was no manual in the car and got no instructions other than you'll figure it out. Which we did sort of. Nothing to do with Budget but I hated that Mercedes with all basic controls behind menus on the touchscreen. Pointless technology. Only USB-C ports for audio. Unable to even pair a phone without downloading an app, and creating an account, and providing your life story, and then I gave up. Lots of ridiculous in that car. Driving in Scotland is terrifying. Get all the insurance you can.
