I have had Maria as a pilates teacher for years and she is first class and very willing to work with students outside class hours, providing informative and detailed tips on how to deal with my particular needs. She has recently been helping me deal with physio and exercises for dealing with my arthritic knee. I would highly recommend her. She is excellent!

In this time of lockdown I have had sciatica . After two 'virtual' sessions with Maria and a programme of exercises, it has totally gone. Maria was very precise in ascertaining where the problem was and how it was affecting my movements. She is a true professional; her knowledge, skill and care and attention to follow up is a great credit to her.

Maria is amazing and there is a great atmosphere in the pilates class. My stiff, painful joints have improved as has my muscle strength. My posture is better and I feel fitter and healthier than I have for a long time.

Sean is a miracle worker. Our mum ended up in hospital with severe pneumonia after breaking her hip. She was there for several months with little to no physio support. When she was discharged from hospital, she had wasted muscles, a drop foot and a bed sore. The consultants told us that she probably wouldnt sit up again, she definitely wouldnt walk and she would be a hoist patient for life. At that point we asked Sean for help. After a very short time, he had mum sitting up in her wheelchair again. Now, a few months on, her drop foot has been corrected, she can bear her own weight and even walk up a corridor with the help of a walking frame. It is hard to describe the difference this has made to her quality of life. Instead of being bedbound and dependent on two carers to get her up, she can scoot about in her wheelchair and we can take her out for lunch, dinner, to the beach or the Botanics. We even got her up to the Highlands for a weeks holiday. If NHS physios tell you that they can do nothing, try Sean. He is incredibly hands-on, uses patient specific exercises, is immensely intuitive with elderly people with confusion and a master of persuasion. That our mum can now enjoy life again and we can spend really good time with her is entirely attributable to Sean. It is impossible to tell him how grateful we are.
