Gary and team laid a really beautiful porcelain patio, built a unique stone clad planter and built a lovely larch fence and gate for a large space we had at the side of the house. The quality of the workmanship and materials used were excellent. Design was perfect for the area and lines and levels of the porcelain was immaculate. Not only was the job very well priced compared to other landscapers across East Lothian and Edinburgh, the team was very professional and completed the job in only a few days. The communication from Gary in regard to the status of the job and materials was second to none. Cannot recommend Gary and team highly enough and if I could would give them 6 stars! I apologise in advance for a lengthy review but I want to give as much information as possible to help anyone in a similar position. Gary and his amazing team have literally completely transformed our garden. End result has far surpassed our expectations and we are absolutely thrilled with it. For people on a similar journey looking to undertake a medium/large sized garden transformation its daunting. We had a few reputable companies in for quotes and were mostly underwhelmed. You want to get it right. Thankfully we were recommended Gary and invited him and his team to give us his ideas. We had spent a few hours researching his website and before/afters and of course reviews on here. When Gary arrived we were Immediately impressed. He understood what we were wanting right away, a modern/contemporary design. He had a vision put together in no time which he shared and was exciting. Its best from the onset to be open about your budget and the materials you are after so everything is crystal clear and thats what happened with us. We got our extremely fair quote through that same night and agreed there and then. From here we had our design phase where Helen arrives along with Sean as laid out in the process section of Garys website. She took some of our suggestions and we mostly allowed for her to come up with what she thought was best from there. Not too long after you will then get the design documents which really sets Garys business aside as you get to see your future garden and have the opportunity to tweak here and there. This just gives you a great level of confidence and you know youre dealing with an exceptionally well ran professional business. After confirming materials the garden commences. Garys team blew us away. Arrived every morning at 7:30am. Despite travelling a good distance. Kept things immaculately clean despite challenging weather. Most importantly they were exceptionally skilled and built us what we have today. We did change our design as we progressed, not massively. But we did chose to finish an area differently from anticipated. Gary was extremely fair with us and allowed for us to have that flexibility, nothing was a problem. As others have noted, Gary gave us a quoted price. Thats the final price we paid. There were no surprises and no goalposts changed. I just want to say thank you Gary and team for everything youve done for us. We really couldnt have had a better experience youve all been tremendous! Gary and his team set very high standards and achieve them in every way. As a returning customer i cant applaud him and the team enough for the work they do. Very keen eye for design, superb use of space and high quality materials. Our garden is now a magical space for us to enjoy and relax. 10/10 again!!! Gary and the team did the most amazing job redesigning and building our new garden. From start to finish we had regular meetings and were kept up to date on progress, deliveries, enhanced design changes. Nothing was too much trouble and the garden is truly bespoke and individual. Their attention to detail is second to none - I have never seen a spirit level and measuring tape used so much in a garden. This is the second garden that Gary and his team have created for us. The first 17 years ago. We were so pleased with the quality of the work that we sought him out to create a garden for us - a new build- from scratch. The garden was professionally designed by Garys colleague Helen who guided us through the design process to produce a fantastic detailed plan to our specification. We cannot speak highly enough of Gary and his experienced team. Their attention to detail, planning, skill, organisation and communication with us at all stages of the project was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. All members of he team have excellent customer service skills taking a pride in their work. They arrived on site promptly and worked their socks off until the job was completed - on time and within budget. Gary kept us up to date daily about progress and to let us know when each aspect of the work would be tackled. We are without reservation delighted with our fabulous garden and would not hesitate to recommend Gary and his team to future customers.
