        Nice enough function space upstairs though going by the rest of the building there's a no over 21 policy in place, 6.80 for a pint of generic IPA was far from impressive as well. Wouldn't really have gone there by choice but when somebody else organised the space on what was presumably a busy Saturday you go where you have to. Staff friendly and helpful though.

        The Counting House has recently had its main, upper room floor redone. To dance is smoother now by comparison to how the floor was previously. (Know that the dancefloor was good before, now it's feel underfoot has improved yet further.) How clean and well-swept the floor is will impact on how it affects the dancers' movements l. For example the ease with which a dancer pivots (rotates on the ball of the foot) is affected by the condition of the floor surface.
