Absolutely blown away by the customer service by Jamie and the rest of the team in Gucci Harvey Nichols Edinburgh. When you think of a luxury brand, you expect a certain level of customer service. Well if you take that level in your mind and double it, that still doesn't come close to what I experienced. Travelling to a works annual sales kick-off event in Las Vegas i purchased myself a pair of Bumble Bee Ace's in Heathrow Terminal 5. Unfortunately, they didn't have my wife's size in stock so I just bought a pair for myself. I get to my hotel and realise that there is a Gucci store just outside so on the morning after my last night, I popped in to buy another pair of the blue and red striped Ace's for myself and a pair of Bumblebee Ace's for my wife. In my still-hungover/inebriated state, I bought mine but didn't check that they had given me the correct size for my wife's shoes. I arrived back home to the Highlands to realise that they had in fact given me a size 3 for the wife. I called Gucci's main number who checked stock nationally and confirmed that there was a pair in my wife's size in Edinburgh. He told me he would reach out to the store on my behalf to organise an exchange. Enter Jamie the manager. Called me 10 minutes after getting off the phone with the customer services number and couldn't have been more helpful. Put aside the shoes for me, he also ordered another size just in case as getting down to Edinburgh is a 7 hour round trip. Kept me fully up to date by texting me and offering further assistance. We got to the store and although Jamie had said he wouldn't be there on the day, the staff were all aware that we were coming for the exchange. The staff in the store made us feel so welcome, they were friendly, attentive and professional. We exchanged the shoes, and the wife is happy. I've honestly never experienced service like it in retail. Jamie even messaged me the following week to follow up to make sure we were happy and offered that if we need anything else just let him know and he will sort it and get it ordered before we travel down to Edinburgh. What Jamie and his team should do is teach and train people on customer services because they are the masters of offering the best possible service that will keep customers coming back time and time again.
