This is a hands down the most filthy pharmacy I have ever been in. The shelves are bare and all of them coated in dust. The manager should be disciplined. Why isnt it cleaned regularly? Absolute no excuse for this. I will be reporting to Environmental Health. They are selling medicines and food stuff from those dirty shelves. I have posted a photo of one of the shelves. Shocked!!! You would think at least after having a pandemic, where there was a massive emphasis on cleanliness, it would have improved but its been like this all through the pandemic, as it was before, and still is now. Now frequent the small locally owned pharmacy where it is immaculately kept and shelves well stocked. Lloyds Pharmacy Bruntsfield Place Edinburgh

Rude and unhelpful staff. Dont want to talk to you at all. I would rather walk a mile to another pharmacy

Bruntsfield Lloyds has had no manager for the past 4 months. Nor has there been a permanent pharmacist - it's a different locum every day. The ceiling has come down in places, causing lots of dust everywhere, and the girls do their best to keep the shop clean. But as they are very short of staff, it's not always easy. The company itself is going through big changes, and stock just isn't coming in. If you ask, the girls will tell you how difficult it is to keep the shelves full. This is hardly the fault of the staff, who don't even know whether they'll still be there for much longer. So instead of unfairly attacking the ladies, perhaps we should thank them for continuing to work as hard as humanly possibly and for always having a big smile and a friendly word for everyone?
